Two or three piles of pictures sit on the table, randomly dealt. Turn them over to see what chance delivers. Swap them. Change the wall colour. Give them a mat. Narrow or wide. Black or white. Adjust the space between the pictures. Small changes make all the difference.
Two or three images together (a diptych or triptych) is an arrangement with a long history. You may want to find out more. It's a relationship that generates harmony and/or friction. There can be agreement or conflict. Sometimes confusion. Allow the images to talk to one another. Can you make out what they're saying?
Pay close attention. Take your time. Resist another deal until you've looked and listened.
